WHEN ADULTS SING "RAIN RAIN GO AWAY.....".

WHEN ADULTS SING "RAIN RAIN GO AWAY.....".

When we used to be kids, while we played outside the house with our friends, and if the rains came , we would sing "rainn rain, go away, come again another day, little children want to play". Not even for one day did the rains hear our pleas, but whenever it appeared again, although we KNEW it has never gone away and will never hear our pleas, we still sang with every enthusiasm, hoping and believing it will go away.

Just the other day, as i recalled those moments, i began to reflect over how much effect dogmatism had on us as kids but then i realised that even now that we are grown, we have not stop singing this same song; maybe not directly, but we still sing it. Let me prove myself; did you visit facebook on the first of this month? What did you see? Every status said " my month of breakthrough, my month of progress, my month of divine intervention, my month of this, my month of that". These same things were said at the begining of last month, last two months, last three months, the list goes onn and on". You see, at the end of each month, we realise it wasnt any bit different from the past one or the others but we still say " my month of this, my month of that" when the next one begins. We say these things, we believe them, but then WE KNOW ITS GONNA BE LIKE THE PRIVOUS ONES ANYWAYS". SO you see the relationship? We both know the end result yet we sing and believe the reverse will the the case.

At the end of my ponder, i came to conclude; the central thing is that we re given hope and its actually neccessary in this troublesom life to keep the heart warm. So its ok when adults sing "rain rain go away". You know when we are doing things and they they are not working out, people tell us dont give up: we keep burning the time we could have invested in other ventures all because they said "dont give up". Sha, thats a thought for another day.

At the end of my note, you realise i havnt realy taught anything, forgive me. I didnt realy write to educate tonight, just that i have been doing much of thinking these days and i decided to share this one. Bonjour!
